ROBERT DOUGHERTY

FOOTBALL
Robert Dougherty #14, Quarterback.
Robert joined the Rough Riders midway through the 1995 season, shortly after he came off the bench to lead the Toronto Argonauts to one of their four victories that season, a 10-7 overtime win over Memphis. Coming out of college, he was compared to another Boston quarterback, Doug Flutie, Dougherty is an excellent scrambler and his enthusiastic attitude on the field is infectious. In just two seasons at BU, he passed for 6,471 yards and set several school records. Robert was the school's most valuable player both years.

MARK MCKAY

FOOTBALL AND BASEBALL
Mark McKay is a two-sport Valley Champion — ’78 Football and ’79 Baseball — accomplished collegiate quarterback, and seasoned real estate professional whose leadership and dedication have defined his life both on and off the field. At Mt. Whitney High School in Visalia, Mark quarterbacked the ’77 and ’78 Pioneers to an incredible 25–1 record and played left field for the Pioneers Baseball team, which also won the Valley Championship in ’79. His outstanding play garnered numerous accolades, including All Northern California First Team, Mt. Whitney’s prestigious All-American Blanket Award, Most Inspirational Player as named by the Visalia Times-Delta, WYL All-League First Team honors in 1977 and 1978, and Fresno Bee Athlete of the Week recognition both years.
Mark continued his football career at the collegiate level, first as a member of the University of Georgia Bulldogs, where he was part of the 1980 NCAA National Championship team. He then transferred to San Diego State University, where he became the starting quarterback in 1982 and 1983. His performance on the field earned him national attention, finishing seventh in the pcountry in quarterback efficiency in 1982 and being named both WAC and Sports IllustratedPlayer of the Week after throwing for an astounding 513 yards in a win over Hawaii.
After his playing days, Mark built a successful career in the real estate and mortgage industry as a wholesale representative for various mortgage companies, bringing his competitive spirit and customer-first approach to over 30 years in the business.
Mark lives on California’s Central Coast with his wife, Staci, and together they’ve built a family that is the center of their lives. Their three daughters — Teresa (Arroyo Grande, CA), Whitney (Santa Maria, CA), and Michelle (Fort Worth, TX) — along with their own families, have blessed Mark and Staci with five grandchildren who fill their lives with joy, love, and purpose. They cherish every opportunity to spend time with family, take their grandkids on adventures, celebrate milestones, and create lasting memories. When he’s not with family, Mark enjoys chasing the little white ball with dimples on the golf course and savoring life’s simple pleasures.
