Pioneer bats erupted for 14 hits and 18 runs, overwhelming their opponent from start to finish. Koralee Herrold led the charge with a perfect day at the plate, racking up four hits. Kira Kunkel and Savinah Diaz each added two hits and two RBIs, while Faith Garcia chipped in with a pair of RBIs to keep the offense rolling. Herrold also took control in the circle, delivering five strong innings, allowing just four hits while striking out four. With the win, the Lady Pioneers improve to 2-7 on the season. They’ll look to keep the momentum going on March 24th as they hit the road to face Farmersville.
