Mt. Whitney High School softball player Raquel Delgado was voted by readers as the Visalia Times-Delta Tulare County prep athlete of the week. In an online poll that closed on April 14, Delgado received 5,385 votes, or a 26.9% majority, of the 20,045 responses. Delgado hit two doubles and a single and knocked in a pair of runs as the Pioneers defeated Fresno 10-3. She also scored two runs.
